A late 19th Century hand made Hertwig & Company (18641941) German Bisque and cloth doll with the original clothing. The doll measures 9 Long, and is marked Germany on the back, which is one of the maker's marks of Hertwig & Co. The doll is in overall great condition. This doll has been dated between 18851895. There is a crack that goes from the back shoulder plate to the front but seems to have happened many, many years ago, and is strongly attached (Refer to picture). There also seems to be a hairline crack around the left ankle (Refer to picture) The red dress is in wonderful condition, it is obviously hand made, as well. There also is a strip of fabric as a dress belt. There is some slight soiling both on dress and doll.
